Who will benefit from this course?
a) Qualified engineers who bear professional responsibility;
b) Junior engineers who are preparing themselves to become responsible engineers; and
b) Those who would like to have the knowledge on what contributes tort, in particular negligence.
Course objectives:
Occasionally, engineers were dragged into disputes and were questioned about their professional
integrity in delivering their services. This course provides participants an overview of what the
differences in responsibilities and obligations are between contract and tort. Special emphasis will be
put on the conditions that constitute negligence. It is expected that on completion of this course, the
participants can evaluate their risk of being held negligent in discharging his duties.
